About Me…
Today I am a bestselling author and ghostwriter who’s written for celebrities, C-suite executives at some of the world’s largest companies (Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Nestle, and Mondelēz — just to name a few), well-known U.S. politicians, thought leaders, and activists.
Then, I was just a kid with a newfound hobby.
I fell in love with writing in a sixth-grade English class. Our teacher had us write and illustrate our own books and she had them printed in hardcover for us. I remember holding mine for the first time and, in that moment, I was sure of two things: 1) Writing was it for me. 2) Illustrating was not. (That hand-drawn cover art looked very sad!)
After that, I started to write about anything and everything. That school year alone I wrote fifteen journals’ worth of stories. Some were good (the one about my childhood crush later turned into my first published essay) and some were terrible (one was centered entirely on a huge blizzard in Maine… that took place in July). Regardless, I was writing constantly, and eventually I turned my hobby into a career.
I got my start in journalism after receiving my bachelor’s from the University of Delaware. I later made the jump into public relations and internal communications while getting my master’s from Rutgers University, and eventually I left the corporate world to write books. Throughout my career I’ve written (and ghostwritten) thousands of bylines, opinion editorials, and blogs, with work appearing in outlets like Washington Post, Huffington Post, Bustle, and Thought Catalog.
The highlight of my career, by far, has been ghostwriting memoirs, self-help, and business books and helping my clients to become authors.
My favorite book clients are smart. They have a powerful story and/or a brilliant way of looking at the world, and they want to bestow that knowledge on others. They come to me talking a million words a minute because they’re just that excited about their book topic. They have heart.
I (proudly!) reside at the Jersey Shore. When I’m not writing, I’m at the beach in the summer, or hugging my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and listening to The Rolling Stones year-round.
Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. You’ll see me here hanging out in the gardens at Versailles and the time I snapped a quick selfie in a desert in Dubai before I went dune bashing.

Hear from my clients…

I always wanted to write a book about some of the difficult things I’ve overcome in my life, in hopes it could help others. With Erica’s help and her remarkable skill for interviewing and writing, I was able to fulfill a lifelong dream. I cannot thank her enough!”
